LAUNCHES IN-STORE EVENT DIVISION
TARRYTOWN,
N.Y., June 16, 2003 - SPAR Group, one of America's leading marketing services
companies, launched a new in-store event division with the acquisition of All
Store Marketing Services, Inc. of Greenville (Dallas), Texas. "SPAR All Store
Marketing" will acquire or create additional in-store event units to provide
wider coverage by the end of 2003.
All Store Marketing Services, Inc. is a leading event organizer in the Texas,
Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas region. Founded in 1987, it has 600 active
event specialists and conducts 4,500 events per year. All Store principal Darla
McCrary will remain with the organization as SPAR's vice president: in-store
event sales for the Texas region.
All
Store Marketing Services is a preferred event agency for 218 Albertson's
supermarkets, 84 Minyard's supermarkets and several independent grocery and
mass merchant chains in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. They also
prepare food and hand-out sample bags at trade shows, mystery shop, conduct
special events at state fairs and enrich grand openings of stores and car
dealerships.
SPAR
Group is re-entering the in-store event sector, according to Dan Ernst, its
director of new business. Our quality in-store event units, backed by SPAR's
renowned Internet and communications technologies and real-time reporting, will
provide superior execution and marketing advantages, Ernst says.
SPAR
will offer total in-store event services including food sampling, product
demonstrations, coupon distribution for on-the-spot purchase, local
merchandising and data collection. They'll introduce customers to client
products and energize the client's overall marketing campaign.
