Merchandisers - Nationwide Opportunities  

SPAR is seeking merchandisers NATIONWIDE to provide sensational service to our clients! We currently have the following assignments available: General Merchandising; New Store and Remodel Setups; Audits, Data Collection, Inventories; Reset or Plan-o-gram Maintenance; Fixture Installation/Building Gondolas, Front-End Displays, etc. (heavy lifting and usage of power tools may be required). Merchandisers (Canada)  

We are seeking qualified candidates for Retail Merchandiser positions in Canada. Our expanded business has created an immediate need for merchandisers. Individuals must have the following skills: new store and remodel set-ups, audits, data collection and inventories, reset and/or plan-o-gram maintenance, fixture installation, front-end displays, etc. (Heavy lifting and usage of power tools may be required). Excellent communication and customer service skills are an asset. Individuals must have their own transportation and be available to work Part-Time hours, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The position requires the ability to work alone or with a team, and requires the use of the internet.

Crew Lead - National Openings   

As a Crew Lead, you will be managing a crew of experienced people while setting-up drug stores. The job is to execute on site all the different aspects of set-up in New, Relocation and various Remodel type projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget as well as to promote teamwork with all parties (Store Operations and Construction) during a project while meeting client standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in a retail environment
  • Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all parties (Client, SPAR, Crew, Vendors)
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of management
  • Ability to manage time and budget to ensure successful project completion
  • Ability to make quick decisions and delegate tasks successfully
  • Ability to manage and motivate employees in a team environment
  • Ability to manage projects and personnel effectively
  • Strong retail fixture and equipment installation skills
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and plan-o-grams
  • Ability to work flexible schedules (Night, Day, Weekend), as set forth by department scheduler
  • Own reliable transportation, ability to travel nationally to store locations
  • Willingness to travel multiple weeks out of town, as set forth by department scheduler
  • Must have previous Crew Lead experience in the remodel/new store environment.
